The Firewall can be deactivated in the Protection and Security section of the operating system. If you have Windows 7 (the procedure is almost similar for XP, Vista, Windows 8 and 10), just open the Control Panel from the Windows Programs menu, and access the Windows Firewall section.
At this point you will face the screen below …
Select the entry in the red rectangle in the left column ….
We’re almost there … all you have to do is select the Options in the red rectangles to deactivate the Firewall (Red Shield with white cross) and confirm everything by pressing OK.
