Enter the recipe name (e.g. "Carbonara", "Margherita"). Select the finished product to associate with the recipe. Add ingredients from the product list, specifying for each: Required quantity Unit of measure Any waste/loss percentage The system automatically calculates the total recipe cost. Click "Save". Modify a Recipe Select the recipe from the list. Click "Modify". Update ingredients or quantities. Save the changes. Benefits of Bill of Materials Cost control: You will know exactly how much each dish costs to produce. Guaranteed margin: Compare the cost with the selling price to verify the margin. Updated warehouse: Selling a dish automatically unloads ingredients from the warehouse. Standardization: All your dishes will always have the same recipe and quality. Practical Example For a Carbonara: 200g Pasta (ingredient from warehouse) 2 Eggs 100g Guanciale 50g Pecorino Salt and Pepper to taste The system will calculate the total cost by summing the cost of each ingredient. When you sell a Carbonara, the warehouse will be automatically unloaded of the corresponding quantities.
