Managing Handhelds

Configure Handhelds (Mobile Devices) Add a New Handheld Open Settings → Configure Handhelds. Click "Add Handheld". Enter: Name: Device identifier (e.g. "Dining Room Tablet", "Bar Handheld"). IP Address: Assign a static IP to the tablet. Click "Save". Network Configuration Ensure all devices are on the same WiFi network. The server PC must have a static IP (configurable in Settings → General Options). The communication port is 8565 (TCP). Verify that the firewall allows traffic on this port. Connection Test After configuration, open the app on the tablet. You should see the table map in real time. If it doesn't work: Check that devices are on the same network. Verify the server IP address. Temporarily disable the firewall for testing.
