What is Cosmofood?

Cosmofood 2019. It is an event dedicated to the world of catering.

This year, Cosmofood 2019 is not just a food event. This three-day festival offers something for everyone, including cooking lessons on how to make different dishes from around the world with some great regional specialties thrown in too!
A wide range of cultural performances will entertain you while you listen and dance your heart out or if that's just not what you want.

During this event, restaurateurs are given the opportunity to live an experience of sharing and discussion.

The world of catering is a constantly evolving sector which, like all the things in life that are worth living to the fullest, cannot be done without adequate nourishment. At Cosmofood 2019 you will be able to choose from many different types and flavors for every palate imaginable in this four-day event!

It is not only a meeting to promote new recipes and food trends, but it is also a way to discover news regarding the new technologies used in the sector in question.

This year the edition of Cosmofood was held, the main culinary event and world fair dedicated entirely to innovations in all sectors related to food. With more than 1,000 exhibitors showcasing their technological innovations during the March 12-14, 2019 sessions (you can visit other times as well), it was a month full of inspiration for professionals who love cooking or anyone thinking of starting their own restaurant!

During this event you will have the opportunity to compare positions and ideas of restaurateurs and food lovers. In fact, there are two sections, one designed exclusively for restaurateurs and another area, a gourmet area designed to satisfy the tastes of lovers of innovative foods. There are various sectors that meet in this context: from food & beverage, through indoor and outdoor furniture up to the hotel sector.

COSMOFOOD 2019: This year the seventh edition of Cosmofood will be held, the Triveneto fair dedicated to excellence in the food and beverage, contract, food & drink service, retail, & technology sectors.

It will take place at Fiera di Vicenza, in via dell'Oreficeria, 16.

Travel Tips

Vicenza is a small city located between Verona and Padua.
It can be reached by train and car. There are no airports.
The fair is well connected to the city center, just take tram no. 12 from Viale Roma, in front of the station.

For accommodation, I recommend you look for a room on Air Bnb.
With just over 20 euros per person, you will be just a few km from the fair area.
The municipalities closest to the place of interest are: Vicenza, Altavilla Vicentina (where slow regional trains stop) and Creazzo.
