Using Handhelds The handhelds (tablets) allow waiters to take orders directly at the table, improving service speed and reducing communication errors with the kitchen. How It Works The waiter approaches the table with the tablet. Opens the RistoManager Handhelds app. Sees the table map with updated statuses. Selects the table and starts the order. Adds products by browsing categories. Sends the order: the printout goes directly to the kitchen/bar. Requirements Android or iOS tablet. RistoManager Handhelds app installed. WiFi connection to the same network as the server. Server configured (see Handhelds Configuration).
