How to Disable System Firewall

Firewall Configuration

Open Port 8565 (Windows)

  1. Open Control Panel → System and Security → Windows Firewall.
  2. Click Advanced settings.
  3. Select Inbound Rules → New Rule.
  4. Choose Port and click Next.
  5. Enter 8565 as the TCP port and click Next.
  6. Select Allow the connection.
  7. Apply the rule to all networks (Domain, Private, Public).
  8. Assign a name (e.g. "RistoManager Handhelds") and finish.

Connection Test

To verify the port is open, use an online tool or:

  1. Open a command prompt on the server PC.
  2. Type: netstat -an | find "8565"
  3. If you see LISTENING, the port is open.
